Programme rules
The rules for your 1 Step Challenge
The 1 Step Challenge has a 6% profit target. Choose your options and check the requirements for the evaluation and the WGF account you can access after passing and verification.
The table distinguishes the standard programme from the options available.
| Rule | 1 Step evaluation | WGF account |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target | 6% | None |
| Maximum loss | 4% as standard; up to 7% with Extended Drawdown, EOD trailing then fixed | 4% as standard; Extended Drawdown until your first reward |
| Minimum trading days | 2; 1 with One Day Pass | 7 |
| Consistency rule | 50%; removed with One Day Pass | 30% |
| Simulated profit split | Not applicable | Up to 100% with an option; 80% as standard |
| Time limit | None | None |
How the maximum loss works
In the 1 Step Challenge, the loss floor follows end-of-day (EOD) equity: the account value, including open positions. It locks at the initial balance once the buffer is covered. It is not a fresh 4% loss allowance each day. Illustration without options, with $100,000 in simulated capital: the initial floor is $96,000. End-of-day equity of $102,000 raises it to $98,000. At $104,000, it reaches $100,000 and stops rising.
The 1 Step Challenge options in detail
One Day Pass reduces the minimum to one day and removes the consistency rule during evaluation only. Extended Drawdown adds 1, 2 or 3 percentage points to the maximum loss until your first reward. The 90/10 and 100% Split options change the simulated profit split.
Permitted trading practices
News trading, overnight and weekend positions, scalping and Expert Advisors are allowed. Copy trading is allowed between your own accounts. No stop-loss is mandatory; loss limits and the prohibited practices in the terms still apply. Automated tick scalping remains prohibited.
Before choosing your programme
Does a lower target mean I will pass more easily?
No. The target is only one condition. Loss calculations, consistency rules and your trading approach also matter. Passing and rewards are not guaranteed.
Can I explore WGF before registering?
Yes. Choose your capital and options in the configurator and view your cart. An account is required to continue the purchase.
Are the programmes identical?
No. This table compares selected rules for the named programmes. Read each firm’s full terms before buying.
